Laurel E. Scott
As a civil litigation paralegal, Laurel Scott supports the firm's litigation teams in business disputes, class actions, employment and wrongful termination matters, real estate and legal malpractice matters. Laurel has assisted Kirby Noonan Lance & Hoge attorneys in successfully handling cases through trial and the appellate process.
Laurel earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from San Diego State University in 1973, and received her paralegal certificate from the University of California at San Diego, with honors, in 1988. She is a member of the San Diego Paralegal Association and the Consumer Attorneys of San Diego.
Laurel was chosen by the San Diego
Daily Transcript as one of San Diego County's Notable Paralegals of
2010. Laurel was selected by an independent panel based on Honesty
& Integrity, Professionalism, Community & Contributions, and
Enthusiasm and Teamwork.
Outside of the law firm, Laurel does volunteer work at Las Colinas Detention Center. She enjoys swimming, yoga, watching football and motor sports, and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
