Katherine G. Dillon
Katherine Dillon began her paralegal career in 1977 at the Seattle law firm of Houger Garvey & Schubert with an emphasis on products liability, personal injury and wrongful death litigation. While at Davis, Wright & Tremaine and Bogle & Gates, two prestigious Seattle law firms, Katherine provided paralegal support on a variety of complex litigation matters involving securities fraud, bank fraud, general business and contract disputes.
After moving to Chicago in 1982, Katherine further expanded her areas of expertise into corporate bankruptcy matters, antitrust and patent litigation. Upon returning to the Seattle area in 1987, Katherine was the lead paralegal assisting in the defense of multiple securities class action and shareholder derivative lawsuits at Bogle & Gates, as well as a civil RICO case involving the Nigerian government. In that case, Katherine was part of the fact-finding team in Nigeria and assisted in the preparation for and taking of depositions of key government witnesses in Nigeria and Europe.
Throughout her twenty-nine year career, Katherine has participated in wide-ranging discovery matters and pre-trial hearings and in trials at both the federal and state court levels. Katherine has also been involved in numerous arbitrations before the NASD.
Since joining Kirby Noonan Lance & Hoge in 1994, Katherine has assisted in complex securities, class action, real estate, intellectual property, antitrust, and commercial matters.
Katherine was chosen by the San Diego Daily Transcript as one of San Diego County's Notable Paralegals of 2009. Katherine was selected by an independent panel based on Honesty & Integrity, Professionalism, Community & Contributions and Enthusiasm.
